What Do You Believe?

Josh was interviewing for a job.  One question he was asked in the interview was "What do you believe?"  A simple question, but strikingly vague considering he was applying for a job.  What did he believe about what?  It was so general.  As his mind searched  for an answer  he realized he stated every Sunday what he believed. He then started reciting the Apostles Creed .

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
Creator of Heaven and Earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ,
His only Son, our Lord.

He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.

He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into Heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic (Universal) Church,
the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Amen.

Well Josh got the job.  He also was a witness to what he believed.  The question gives us pause to ask ourselves, What Do We Believe.  Would we know how to address this issue in a secular situation?  Or would we be afraid to give a testimony of our faith?  It is a question we will all have to answer one day.
